THE INSPECTION:

We strongly encourage client participation! A home inspection is a valuable exchange of information and is not to be rushed. Typically, they take about 3 to 4 hours to complete. The home is methodically broken down into individual systems (exterior, roof, electrical, plumbing, mechanical etc.) and the client is updated each step along the way. Absentee clients can review the e-mailed report and call for a free follow-up consultation.

PRICING:

Several factors must be considered when quoting a fee- such as location of the home, total square footage, age, foundation type etc. Fees generally start at $250.00 with Radon testing and Termite reports additional. Receive a $50.00 discount when ordering Radon testing in conjunction with a home inspection.

We also offer condo inspections at a discounted Rate (ask us why).

ABOUT CORNERSTONE:

Cornerstone Home Inspections LLC was conceived in 1996 by Joe Maniec and has been serving the Bloomington area communities for over a decade. We take pride in providing comprehensive residential home inspection reports that address the issues and are easy to understand. Cornerstone is locally owned and operated.

Each report is laptop edited for completion right on-site to insure the best accuracy. You can expect to receive your report right away either by e-mail or via USB flash drive (printed copy by request).

We offer Certified Radon testing and Licensed Professional Termite inspections. Cornerstone is licensed by the State of Indiana and is an affiliate member of the Bloomington Board of Realtors. We also maintain a "No conflict of interest" policy to protect the client and work ethic.

About Your Inspector
Joe began his technical training in 1976 with Air conditioning and heating. Since then he has also been involved in residential plumbing, old home renovation, deck building and was a residential service installer working for companies in both Natural gas and Propane systems.

In addition, Joe has been Certified as a Residential Home Inspector by an ASHI approved training school and is duly Licensed by the State of Indiana. Other Certifications include NRPP/NEHA for Radon Measurement.
